Immersion is the Experience: UX, UI, and U!

Our featured speaker this month is Zachary Snader!

zachZachary Snader is a designer for Retora Game Studios and a director for Future Is Games. He has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Game Design from the University of Advancing Technology and has studied Interactive Media and Digital Culture at Arizona State University.

Zach has always been interested in how people interact with technology and the arts and has applied that to his work in games. This winter, he will be continuing his studies at Hochschule für Gestaltung, one of Europe’s premier design schools.

Zach will be discussing the evolution of user experience and user interface and how they are applied to game development concepts. The talk will address topics like considering heuristics through design, the difference between mobile and non-mobile interfacing, relationships between input and output, and more!

Free pizza will be available to all meeting attendees thanks to UAT and generous IGDA Members. If you’d like to contribute to the pizza fund, please consider buying a Pizza Sponsor RSVP, or make a cash donation at the meeting.
